This Privacy Policy explains how these apps access, use and collect your personal data.
Location data :
The apps request access to your current location data. This location data is used to display your location on maps of the featured climbs. It is also used to derive and display the distance to these climbs as well as listing them in order based on this distance.
The location data is not stored on the device and is not shared with any other apps or third parties. The distance data is temporarily stored on the device but is not shared with any other apps or third parties.
Strava data :
The app will ask for access to users Strava data. The user is directed to a Strava login and authorisation pages. This returns an access token to the app with which can be used to access your Strava data. The access token is stored on the device in order that the app can repeatedly gain access to this data with out requiring a the user to login again. This token is not shared with any other apps or third parties. The user can remove this token by pressing the 'Disconnect' button on the settings page.
Data about the users efforts on the featured segments is requested from the Strava services in order to count the number of completed climbs and to display the times and the dates when these segments were ridden. This data is stored on the device but is not shared with any other apps or thirds parties. This data can be removed by uninstalling the app.
No user data is transmitted to online servers or stored anywhere other than on the device and the data stored on the device is only accessible through the app.
